I love these flowers!

I know I already posted once today, but I had to post these pictures that I took this afternoon. Our butterfly garden is thriving this year and everything is starting to bloom. I saw 4 or 5 butterflies on the lillies and impatiens today. The brighter the flower, the more they are attracted to them. We also have some hummingbirds hanging around. The flower pots on the deck and along the sidewalk are filled with orange impatiens and hot pink gerbera daisies. Today I took a picture of one that is just starting to open, and it looks just awesome! So I decided to share...one with the sun shining on it and one with the sun behind the clouds!

Taking a breather!

I can't wait for tomorrow! I will be browsing through my SIL's sister's scrapbook shop. Its so wonderfully stocked with the latest and greatest. She also has an attached antique and Christmas shop that I stalk too while I am there. Who knows what I may find that screams, "Alter me"!

Here's a recent LO that I did with some Heidi Swapp, Hambly and Doodlebug. I added some extra stamping to the pp, trim and flower. The chipboard word is one from my stash that I embossed.

Life...

I am so behind with my blogging. Life just got in the way this month. I had some devastating news about my younger brother and we are still struggling to come to terms with it. My scrapping has taken a back seat to my family right now. I am getting my DT projects accomplished (barely) and that's about it. I have done a few LOs recently that I just love, so I will post them for now.

"Road Trip"

This week the DT at KT took a trip through the member galleries and chose a layout to scraplift, with the permission of the owner, of course! I chose one done by my dear friend, Rose. It has been a favorite of mine since she uploaded it a while back. I have to say that I am pleased with the outcome of my scraplift. The colors were a little intimidating to me, but the overall effect was a pleasant surprise!

So, here they are...Rose's layout and mine below it!
