I wanna go home!

Gheez, I have been away more in the past 3 weeks, than I have been at home! We were in AC for a week, off to Maryland for 4 days, and now we are in Western PA visiting my family. Saturday evening we took my mom out for dinner for her 75th birthday and had a grand time. We spent most of dinner reminiscing about days gone by and laughing so hard we could hardly eat! I feel so privileged to be able to spend happy time with all of my siblings and their families. I am thankful that we have always been close!!

We had a great time!

We took our annual mini vacation to Atlantic City this week. Its always a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The weather wasn't as pleasant as other years, but we did get to visit the beach while we were there.

Here's a couple of LOs that I finished up before we went away. I find it amazing that such a little guy is so selective about how he eats his Oreo cookies! He is too funny!

We had our picture taken at a dinner we attended recently at our CC. There is always a "passport" theme with cities around the world and they take the pics for our passport. Lots of fun and good food!

Changing Seasons

This is a LO that I made for a sketch challenge at Cropstop. I really love how it turned out. The window frame is actually from a game that we bought for our DGS this past weekend. We bought him a Memory game and when we punched out the cards, I saved the frames. I cut this one down in size and it worked perfectly for my window frame. Some stamps and PearlEx added the perfect touch!
With Fall just around the corner, I am anxious to take pictures with my new SLR camera. I usually go on a "photo shoot" around the 10th of Ocotber. The leaves are just gorgeous in the Poconos in the Fall!

Boy, U Play Hard!

This is a layout that I finished yesterday of our DGS playing with his new "loader" as he calls it. He was quick to learn how to operate the remote control on it. The look on his face was so intense!

Wonderful Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend visiting our DDs and their families! Our GS is truly a delight. I must commend our daughter on how well behaved he is. His manners are impeccable for a little guy of the ripe old age of 2! He never forgets to say "please" or "thank you". His laughter makes me so happy! After a trip to the local toy store, we spent the day playing basketball, Memory (now that was a challenge for me, but he did well!), Legos, and learning how to work his new remote control payloader! He and Pop Pop mastered that in no time! Look at the intense concentration on this little face!!

This is a layout that I finished on Friday night before we went away for the weekend. It is a picture of our lovely niece and her DBF. I love this K&Co. Wild Saffron Collection of papers.
