It's Croptopia Time again!

It's time for a Croptopia Weekend Getaway, once again! You can find the gals from Cropstop at their vendor booth in the sales area! And, I will be there with them too, this time around. I am so excited and can't wait to take part in this fun weekend. Vendors and classes will be open to the general public on Friday and Saturday with an admission fee of $5 per day! That's a bargain in these economic times! So check out the website for directions and details. Don't miss it!

Artist Trading Cards

Artist Trading Cards, or as we know them, "ATC's" are becoming one of my favorite new creations. We have a monthly ATC challenge at Croptsop and I am loving it! This month, we had to create two ATC's...one using "inchies" and the other using "slides" The clip art is from Lisa's Altered Art, is just adorable, and you can't go wrong with the price. Check it out! And, don't forget to stop by the Cropstop monthly ATC challenge and see the great creations from our members!

I'm back!

I am so excited to be scrapping again. Recently, I joined another kit club...Swirlydoos! I have been lurking around their site and loved what I saw. The kits are just amazing! So, I joined. I can hardly wait to get the first kit. I also purchased the flower add on kit. They should be here soon. Check them out and see the yummy products they offer!

I completed this LO yesterday and submitted it to the BG website this morning. I received an e-mail that it has been accepted. So, now it is in the gallery at Basic Grey.com. The photo is of our two DDs when they were 3 and 5. So many years ago! I made the flowers using the Porcelain pps, versamark, Daisy Bucket and Autumn Leaves stamps, and Pearl Ex. I layered them 3 deep. The centers are Petaloo flowers. I love how they turned out!

This is a card that I made for a card class that we have posted at Cropstop. One of our members, Blinky, has shared her decoupage card technique with the other members. I was so happy with the finished card!

My Creative Scrapbook Kit

I recently joined a kit club that I have been following for a while. The kits are amazing and filled with lots of yummy scrapping stuff! This LO was done with the February kit which featured Little Yellow Bicycle and Hambly pps. This is a photo of DH and myself at our oldest DD's wedding a few years ago. The journaling is the chorus from one of our favorite songs by Bad Company.

A new month!

Wow! It's March already. Well, maybe I shouldn't say already. It has been a long winter here in the Poconos. We are expecting another snow event tonight with an accumulation of up to 8 inches. Ugh! Is it spring yet?

Yesterday, I went to an all day crop locally and actually got a lot accomplished. I can post a couple of my LOs, but the others have to wait for a future date. The first one is my oldest brother and his wife. I love this photo of the two of them.

The second one is our dear GS, Brenden, talking on the phone. He loves to call us every chance he gets just to say hello.

Here are a few LOs that I have done in the past week or so. The first one is a road trip that DH and I made on our motorcycles. The weather was great and we had such a fun time.

Our GS, Brenden celebrated his 3rd birthday recently. What a joy he is. He was also visiting us just before Christmas when we had snow. It was very exciting for him because there isn't a lot of snow where he lives.
