Hoppy Creating!

Here's a supply list and instructions for making this flower pot card. Remember, to be in the draw for my blog candy, you must post a comment, in my blog, with the link to the flower pot card you created for our CS blog hop!

Supplies: 1- 9" x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock for flower pot
1- 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of white cardstock for pocket tag
1- 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of cardstock for pocket tag mat.
3 scraps of coordinating cardstock for the larger flower
3 scraps of coordinating cardstock for the smaller flower
3 buttons for the flower centers
14 " piece of ribbon
Stamp with sentiment of your choice
Coordinating ink
Border/edge punch
Flower Punch/Die Cut with two different sizes
Paper Trimmer
Adhesive

Step 1 - Score the 9" x 3 1/2" piece of cs (horizontally positioned) at 2" and 5 1/2"

Step 2 - Fold in a mountain top fold at the 2" score line and a valley fold at the 5 1/2" score line

Step 3 - Punch the edge of the 2" front flap with your border punch. Ink all edges of the pot

Step 4 - To make the flower pot shape, place the cs on your paper trimmer with the 2" flap
turned up and the bottom folded behind (See lower flap fold in Step 2)

- Line up the 2" score line with the cutting track and the 5 1/2" fold line with the 1/2"
mark below the cutting track.

- Cut one side, flip and cut other side

Step 5 - Fold the top down and tie the ribbon around the flower pot. This will hold it together.

Step 6 - Adhere the white, 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" cs to the 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" mat. Stamp your sentiment
on the tag.

- Place your tag in the flower pot for better positioning of the flowers when adhering
them to the top of the tag.

- Pop dots will help add dimension to your flowers. I used a Sizzix die and Cuttlebug
embossing folder for the larger flowers and a Spellbinder small poinsettia die for the
smaller flower.

Now, so you don't hop too far, jump on over to Jessica's blog for your next blog hop letter...
Have a hopping good time! See you at the finish line!
