Double D, "Run, Run, Rudolph", Challenge!

Hey there blogger friends!
This year has gone by too fast.  It's already December and I'm decorating and mailing Christmas cards this week.   Over on the Double D Challenge Blog, we are starting of this month with a themed challenge everyone is familiar with....

"Run, Run, Rudolph"

Team Diane is hosting this challenge along with additional inspiration from Team Darlene.   Stop by the Double D Challenge Blog for guidelines and link up your "Run, Run, Rudolph" project by Sunday, December 16th.  You could be one of our Top 3 or Top Creative Winner chosen by the Design Team.  There's also a prize chosen by random.org for one lucky player.

You could be the winner of this amazing die cut!

Cottage Cutz Whimsical Deer and Bird Set

My inspiration....

"Believe"

I loved the 4th photo on the mood board with all white and just a pop of brown on the antlers, but wanted a little red action too.  The card base is kraft with a layer of red over it.  To create my forest scene, I embossed the white background with a pine folder and added a fir branch for dimension.  The deer is cut from both white and kraft cardstock with the kraft being used as the matting for the white.  I adhered a red pearl for the nose because everyone knows that Rudolph's nose glowed red!  The sentiment is cut from red and the curl on the B is wrapped around Rudolph's leg.  You must "Believe"!

From my stash...
Bazzill, Recollections Cardstock
Queen & Co. Pearl
Richard Garay Embossing Folder
Spellbinders, Tutti Designs Die Cuts

Absolutely beautiful with all the white! I too like how you wrapped the 'B' of the sentiment around his leg ... sometimes just those little touches really make the card special! This card IS special ... beautiful job!
