Rogue Redhead Designs, Just Sayin' Collection

This past weekend was super busy for us...not only was the Easter Bunny hoppin', but so was I!  Our grandchildren were here and that always means for a fun and frenzied time.  We hid Easter baskets and had egg hunts along with going to the movies and sharing good times and good food!

Next weekend will be another busy one for us.  We will be taking my mother back to her home after a three week visit.  My brother will be celebrating a milestone birthday in April, so we will also be having a family gathering for ice cream, cake, and reminiscing the past.  He will be turning "60" and I wanted to create a fun tag for his birthday gift.  The "Just Sayin'" Stamp Collection worked well for what I had in mind.

I started with a basic manilla tag that I covered with patterned papers.  The sentiment circles were created with die-cuts, stamped and added to the tag.  I stamped the gentleman and colored the image with markers, cut him out and added pop dots for dimension.  One of my favorite washi tapes, "finger pointing" was perfect to point out the sentiment on the tag.  A notebook clip, star, punched border and ribbon finished my tag.

The "What?" and "Did Ya Hear?" sentiments are stamped on the same size circles and matted with a contrasting color of cardstock.  I used the "Linked Fence" background stamp for the circle with the age on it.
All 3 circles are attached together with the "Did Ya Hear" on pop dots along with the "Gentleman" image.

This close up of the stamped "Gentleman" image shows the washi tape I added down the side of the tag.

My project turned out to be a super, colorful tag that will add an extra fun touch to the gag gift we will give my brother for his milestone birthday!
