Complimentary colors are pairs of colors that are of “opposite” hue in some color model (like the color wheel). Complementary colors create more interest when used together in a project.
This beautiful color wheel is from Quilts and creativity.

great inspiration from the dts...This colour challenge is in fact a bit of challenge for me...probably I am a bit colour-blind..lol..! But I will love to try my hand on it.
Hi hun! I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I started a new job last week and it's been really hectic.
You asked me where I got the paper I used for the flowers on <a href="http://crafty-little-bee.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-at-mtme.html>this</a> card ... It came with one swap - the person I swapped with wrapped it around the rubber stamps she sent me. No idea where she got it. Here I can get similar paper when I go to the florist's shop - they wrap it around the flower. For the flowers I crumpled the paper to get this look. I hope this helps.
The DT did a great job with this week's challenge. I love all their cards. :)
Have a nice day!
Hugs!
