Today finalizes Goodwill's "the power of work" week, a yearly effort done to promote the idea of supporting your local Goodwill stores.
Our challenge to you is to use a Goodwill "find" in your project. Think of all the possibilities, it could be an altered item, buttons, or fabric from a vintage shirt. Through out the blog hop you will find inspiration from the amazing line up we have for you.
The prizes are a $20 Gift Certificate from Cropstop.com and 2 Cutting files or Digital Stamps by Paper Crafting World. In addition to that, some of the ladies have giveaways too! And that's not all... use code CTC-VR for 10% off your total purchase from Cropstop.com with no minimum required!
You have two ways to enter your name into the pot for a prize!
1. Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (12 stops = 12 comments), GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG) and leave your NAME in MR. LINKY.
2. Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (12 stops = 12 comments) AND play with us and our Goodwill challenge. GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG) and leave your NAME (AND THE word PROJECT) in MR. Linky. If you don't have a Goodwill store near you, then try another store like Goodwill.
DEADLINE FOR LINKING WITH MR. LINKY IS SUNDAY, MAY 15TH!!
Now, on to my Goodwill creation!
I totally love Art Deco and Vintage jewelry! So, naturally I haunt the Goodwill stores looking for treasures. I have quite a collection and it's still growing . A few of the pieces are broken with no hope of repair. I chose the broken earring from a set to use on my creation!
Here is the matching earring to the one that I used on my project. It is still intact!
And, here is what I did with my broken earring! I used it as the buckle on the shoe.
Websters Pages Lullaby Lane and MME shaped tags, Prima Flowers and Leaves, Websters Pages Whimsies Resin Bird, Close To My Heart Stamp, Strawberry Stickles, Chestnut Roan Ink.
Your next stop on the "Goodwill" Blog Hop is #12-Heidi! Be sure to leave a comment at each of the 12 stops in order to qualify for the prize!! Happy Hopping!

You are so smart to use broken jewelry as BLING on a card. What a perfect way to repurpose!! LOVE IT.
That is an awesome idea. It looks great as a shoe buckle. Love it. I'll have to do this now.
