Caraline is "1"!

Our precious "Princess Caraline" turned one this past week.  Wow, where has this past year gone?  She has brought so much love and joy into our lives.  We are truly blessed with this beautiful granddaughter and two handsome grandsons.

Scrapping and crafting has been on the back burner for me since the end of February due to family illness.  I did manage to squeeze in some weekend scrapping a few weeks ago and finally have time to share my layout.

Caraline's first Easter egg hunt was a success!  It didn't take her long to figure out that she needed to find the colored eggs before the other kids had them all.  Her Easter outfit was a spring delight!

I started with white cardstock as the background for this layout.  Lots of different mists...Fireworks, Perfect Pearls and Glimmer Mist created the color in the background.  I used a paper doily in the shape of an egg to stencil the area under the title, "adore".

A close up of the stenciled area.  I love how the egg shaped image created with the paper doily
!
Here I used layered daisy type flowers all scrunched up to mimic the dandelions in the picture.  Cool!

I added another doily, flowers, trim, and of course, an Easter bunny!

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill; Flowers: Petaloo, Prima, Recollections; Jewels, Butterfly, Heart: Recollections; Trim: Queen & Co, Tim Holtz; Die Cut: Memory Box

She is so adorable! I can't believe she is one already. Where does the time go? I love your layout! The touches of embellishments are so, so pretty.
