In this class, I’ll show you how to use your fantastic crafty skills on something fun and new. Over three weeks, I’ll get your creativity onto inspiring and eye-catching pieces of art by exploring multiple paper crafting techniques and provide you with some new perspectives on everyday life. You’ll create three fast food style containers, each with a thought provoking and amazing project that will fit inside it.

Progressing from beginner to more advanced crafting levels, your finished pieces will intertwine and complement each other, creating one big and unique combo meal. I’ll guide you through the entire process with step-by-step instructions that include photos, templates, sketches and videos and fantastic bonus material that you won’t want to miss out on!  I’m excited to share my knowledge of how versatile wood can be. In this class, you’ll learn how to alter and decorate this bare flower set by using multiple techniques, including sanding, painting, paper piecing, working with inks, and fabric manipulation.

I’ll share some great tips on what types of paints, adhesives and other embellishments are great and not-so-great when working with wood. I’ll also show you how to decorate a metal pot with faux grass for your beautiful flowers to rest in. Thus, creating a gorgeous home décor project that can be changed up for any occasion!

You’ll be getting so many ooh’s and ahh’s from family and friends that you’ll want to slap their curious hands away. You’ll also see how incredibly the wooden flowers stand up compared to less sturdy materials such as paper and fabric. This amazing self paced class is available starting August 18th.
