This has been an especially eventful year for my mom as far as her health. There were many ups and downs over a 3 month period and she spent a lot of time in the hospital and recuperating. Our family is so very thankful that she has made a complete recovery and is still a part of our lives.
I wanted to share this special birthday card that I made for my mother's birthday this past week. Not that her birthday isn't special every year, but this year we are so grateful that she is here with us!
I love these patterned papers from My Mind's Eye. The yellow rose was perfect since it is my mom's favorite flower. And, the Ranger Clear Rock Candy Dry Glitter has become a staple on a lot of my cards. It gives such an amazing finish when applied to embellishments.
The Memory Box La Rue Heart Die Cut is fabulous. It has such beautiful, intricate details! The doily is a Lifestyle Crafts Die and was perfect for matting the heart.
I used the Spellbinder Foliage Die leaves with the apple blossom flowers.

Wow Vicki! This is gorgeous. I really love the color combination and your other sprinkling of dies is perfect. I wasn't sure how not to drown out that delicate heart. I just pinned this card. We used almost the same color on the heart too. :)
