As the June Guest Designer at Just Imagine Crafts, I am continuing with my "Father's Day Month" theme and have created yet another manly item!
Here's a unique Father's Day card that dad is sure to love! I altered this empty chipboard ribbon spool to use in place of the typical Father's Day card. It says all the right things and includes tickets for hugs and snuggle time!
"The Measure of a Man"
I used my Kreaxions Circle Cutter for cutting the patterned papers to just the right size. Next, I added lots of manly trinkets to both sides of the spool.
The altered spool is now a reel of tickets of love!
I printed the sentiments on cardstock, cut them out, and inked the edges.
A close up of one of the designs you get with the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #311.
I matted the patterned paper with white cardstock to highlight the punched design.
A closer look at the punched design.
So, don't throw away those empty ribbon spools. You never know what you can use them for!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope I have inspired you to try your hand at altering one of these!
