Signs of Spring!

I'm up on the Rogue Redhead Designs Blog today with a tag that brings to mind that flowers are getting ready to bloom and trees buds will be bursting forth before too long.

Here's my "Signs of Spring" inspiration tag for you...

"Each Flower is a soul blossoming out to nature"

I used a Julie Nutting/Prima tag stenciled with a leaf pattern in green distress ink as the base.  Next, I folded a white paper doily, that had been inked along the edges with pink distress ink, in half around the side of the tag .  The ferns were stamped over the doily using a different shade of green ink and the fern image from the RRD Floriculture Half Plate. 

I added a mixed bouquet of flowers and a multi loop bow on the side and stamped the Floriculture sun image in the upper right corner of the tag. 

The sentiment, also from the Floriculture Plate,  is stamped in pink on white and matted with pink cardstock.  The cork butterflies, gems and pearls were the finishing touches to my tag.
