Here's my challenge inspiration combining a non-traditional color with a Valentine theme....

"Love"

I totally love how this card turned out!  The deep, rich purple of the foil paper and delicate lines of the die-cut heart against the white background give it a regal feel.  The elegant, sheer bow is the perfect topper for this card of love.

The card, as most often mine are, is square.  This time I made it 5" x 5",  smaller than the usual 6" x 6" that I prefer.  The white base is layered with lavender glitter specialty paper and a piece of sheer ribbon down the center. The heart is die cut from purple foil paper and adhered to white cardstock.  I matted the white with the remaining foil paper after removing the heart. 

To balance the stamped sentiment in the lower right corner, I added velvet leaves and a mulberry rose to the left side of the card.  I placed a rhinestone in all four corners of the white cardstock. Next, I added pop dots to the back of the heart square to give the card dimension and centered it over the glitter paper. 

The double loop, purple bow was made using the Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Making Tool.  It makes creating bows easier than you can imagine and I wouldn't be without it!
