For my Anniversary Challenge inspiration, I chose to use the Dies R Us Challenge Blog colors...
"Congratulations"
This 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card has a cardstock base with matting beneath a favorite piece of patterned paper in my stash. The paper matched the Dies R Us Challenge Blog color along with the cardstock I used. The bottom layer is topped with a triangle cut piece of patterned paper to form a pocket. I cut a medallion, tucked it into the pocket and used it as a background for the sentiment banner and fronds.
Die-cuts are a staple for me and I couldn't wait to use the Poppy Flower, Delicate Fronds and Heart Corner dies that I purchased not long ago. Keeping everything in basic white, I accented with the peach-orange color found on the blog. The cluster of poppies are arranged on the pocket cover with a few hearts added in the center. A couple of stick pins and a two-toned bow made with my ever present Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Making Tool complete the arrangement. The delicate corner dies are now on my favorite list and will be used often!

Wow Vicki! This card is gorgeous!
Oh my word, this is stunning. These colors are truly gorgeous together. I LOVE how you used 2 pieces of the ribbon together to tie it all up (no pun intended). Beautiful die cuts. Oh wow, this is fantastic! Hugs, Gail

Vicki, your cards are always a delight to see. Love your use of die cuts and the color combo. I haven't tried those colors together that I remember. Your card looks beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs, Gracie / Graciellie Design
This card is so striking Vicki! I have those fronds on my wishlist now. It's getting bigger and bigger. :) Very creative to do them in orange and I (of course) love the color combination. Beautiful!
