Craft-Dee BowZ November Challenge

It's November and the holiday season is just around the corner!  The time when we begin to reflect on everything we are thankful for during the past year and staying warm!

These two topics were the inspiration for my Craft-Dee BowZ November challenge card.  The sentiment and warm colors remind me how thankful and blessed I am.  This month, the Design Team is creating with fall colors and lots of texture by using burlap and foliage on our designs.
Here's my inspiration...

"Blessings...today & always

This 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card is packed with layers, layers and more layers!  The card base has six layers of cardstock and patterned papers. The leaves are cut from various colors including burlap and gold glitter paper.  The sentiment is stamped with coordinating ink on white and matted with cardstock matching one of the base layers.

I kept long tails on the bow, created with my Craft-Dee BowZ, and adhered them around all of the cardstock layers except the black base.  The striped pattern in the ribbon was almost a perfect match to the stripe in the patterned paper. I arranged the leaves in a fan-like fashion around it, topping it off with a lovely flower.
