It's time to share my Craft-Dee BowZ Design Team inspiration with you. This month, the Craft-Dee BowZ team is creating with the color purple, including ribbon, paint chips and a "Fairy" theme.
Craft-Dee BowZ March Challenge is again being sponsored by Cute As A Button. They will be awarding a prize of two digital images to the challenge winner for March. As always, our theme is "Anything goes and include a HANDMADE bow". You don't want to miss this opportunity....so be sure to get in on the action. Visit the Craft-Dee BowZ Blog and link up your entry to the March Challenge post. It lasts all month long!
And, here is my altered project...
I wanted to create something whimsical and what could be more whimsical than a fairy garden? This altered wine glass purchased at the Dollar Store makes a great night light for our granddaughter! The outside is covered with a decoupage technique of glue, tissue paper, and glitter. The base, glued to a lovely, purple crocheted doily, is covered with a multitude of foliage die cuts, flowers and a butterfly made from paint chips. A sprinkle of fairies and a beautiful bow, complete the fairy garden!

This is the most fabulous project I have ever seen. I think this is a magnificent idea and that every little girl I know would adore a night light like this. It really inspires me to step out of my box and try something similar for a sweet little girl I know who would cherish it forever. And the little battery run candle inside would be safe and not be a hazard of any kind! I love this and hope you know I suspect there to be many fairy night lights made around the world from the sparks your post has made! Hugs, Gail
What a darling and adorable project. You nailed whimsy for sure. :-) ~ Blessings, Tracey
