It's July and time for another challenge on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog!
Our challenge to you for the first half of the month is "Outdoor Fun"

We challenge you to create a project using the beautiful outdoors as your theme.  So grab those die-cuts and show us what you can create with them.  Link up your project to the Dies R Us "Outdoor Fun" Challenge post by midnight, July 14th for the chance to win a $10 Gift Voucher for the Dies R Us Store.  And don't forget, as part of our challenge, we want to see your die-cuts too!
Visit the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for rules and quidelines.  You can find them in the left side bar.  While you're there, grab our Dies R Us Challenge badge to share on your blog!

I love July!  It starts with a holiday weekend and there's thirty-one days to enjoy the out of doors.  We'll be celebrating the 4th of July holiday with an outdoor barbeque and picnic (provided the weather cooperates).  If not, we can picnic indoors just as well.  There will be lots of good food and family fun.
I used a picnic theme for my "Outdoor Fun" inspiration.  These bright and cheerful papers from Authentique were perfect and I had some awesome die cuts to go along with my idea.

 "Life is a PICNIC"

This collection from Authentique is fabulous with lots of bright colors, fun patterns and images.  My 6 x 6 card has many layers and patterns.  Everything on this page reminds me of a picnic from the basket weave patterned papers right down to the ladybug!  I used die cuts to embellish the papers...a tree to sit under, white flowers to accent the strawberry blossoms, green leaves and lovely white doilies for a touch of romance for this cute couple.  The yellow bow adds a pop of color and pulls in the flower centers and the touch of yellow in the image.  I love how this card turned out!
