Double D Wedding Challenge!

It's time for the Double D's second challenge for June...

The challenge theme is "Wedding".

Hurrah for the first day of summer!  Did you know that June is one of the most popular months for weddings?  We at the Double D are challenging you to create a "Wedding" themed project and link it to the "Wedding" Challenge post in the Double D Challenge Blog

We will be choosing a Creative Winner and Top 3 to receive our Double D Badge to display on your blogs.  In addition, we are offering a prize with the winner to be chosen by random draw.   We welcome all entries, so everyone has a chance to win!

You could win this Die-Versions Sweet Wordlets, Mr. & Mrs.

Once again, we have a truly inspiring mood board to share with you.  Choice is good and we give you plenty from the photos shown below.  Choose one or use them all to inspire you while creating your project.

I took my inspiration from all of the photos.  The soft colors, roses and tulle were all details I included on my project along with rhinestones and a touch of gold.

"This is where our story begins..."

I used a new Precious Marieke Flower Frame die cut as the focal point of my vintage, shabby chic card and gave it dimension with foam tape.  The embellishments include gold hearts and flourish along with some rhinestones.  I added mulberry roses, a tulle bow and two heart shaped stick pins to finish the detail work.

From my stash...
American Crafts Specialty Paper
Bazzill Cardstock
Kaisercraft Patterned Paper
Queen & Company Rhinestones
Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Roses
Other: Heart Stick Pins, Tulle

Thanks for stopping by...I hope I have inspired you to play along with our Double D "Wedding" Challenge!  Stop back again soon.
