Still Celebrating..."In the Kitchen!"

Celebrate good times...come on!

It's time for our second anniversary challenge on the Double D Challenge Blog
We are excited to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary ALL MONTH LONG!!!  Everything is double this month...two challenges and two prizes per challenge along with our Top Creative Winner and Top 3 chosen by the Design Team!

I, personally am offering a prize in addition to the Double D's prizes.  Find the info below my challenge inspiration.

This challenge is hosted by Team Darlene with the theme "In The Kitchen".   The kitchen is typically the "heart of the home" where families gather for good food and good conversation.  So, what's in your kitchen?

Check out the fun designs, colors and inspiration on this mood board!

And, here are the two prizes being offered!

Elizabeth Craft Designs Apron Die Cut

Poppy Stamps Happy Birthday Melody Die Cut

Here's my challenge inspiration...

I was inspired by the bright colors...the green, red, yellow and the check design on the aprons along with the wood patterns.   These papers from the Authentique Cheerful Collection were perfect for this challenge card.   I gave the layers lots of dimension and added some fun details including a little blue bird!

You can find the challenge guidelines at the top and on the sidebar in the Double D Challenge Blog along with details in the actual challenge post, "In the Kitchen".  Please be sure to follow our rules and theme to be eligible for a prize and badge.  Prizes are chosen by Random.org and badge winners are selected by the Design Team.

I am offering the prize shown below to one winner chosen by random draw on January 31st.  Comments and followers from both January challenges will be included.  You must COMMENT and be a FOLLOWER of my blog to be entered into the prize draw.

Faber-Castell Manhattan Gelatos...
Gold Champagne, Silver Ice, Iced Rose, Metalllic Icing

This prize includes only comments/followers on my personal blog, "Validation of Vicki" for both Double D January Challenges.

Challenges entered:

So, come and play along with our month long birthday-anniversary celebration.  You could be one of the lucky prize winners or receive one of our Double D badges to display on your blog.  Don't miss out on the fun.  Link your project to the Double D Challenge Blog's, "In the Kitchen" post today!

 Thanks for stopping by!

Hope to see you here again soon.

What an adorable card. I love the vintage-y feel, takes me back to my childhood in the late 40's. I, too, was drawn to those colors. I really love this card!
