Welcome back Blogger fans!
June will soon be over, it's hot, hot, hot here in SE Pennsylvania and I'm trying to stay cool in my craft space! Today, I have a fun project to share using Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Circles and Butterfly Corner.
In case you haven't heard, there's a new crafting trend...ATC Coins. Do you remember making ATC/Artist Trading Cards to swap with friends? Well now, we're swapping Artist Trading Coins! They're easy to make, embellish and fun to trade with other crafty friends.
ATC Coins
Most coins I've seen are cut from cardstock but I wanted to make mine a little heavier using chipboard also. All of the Tutti Design Circle Die Sets...Cross Stitch Nesting, Dotted Nesting, Scalloped Stitched Nesting and Stitched Nesting are great for cutting ATC Coins.
The 5th circle from the smallest is the one I used for the 2 1/2" diameter coin pieces. I cut 4 chipboard and 4 patterned paper circles, adhering them together to make 4 ATC Coins.
I adhered paper to the back of each coin to allow for journaling and fussy cut images to use as the embellishments on the front of the coins.

This coin has a large butterfly that I fussy cut from the Butterfly Corner die.
I inked the coin edges and fussy cut images. The coins all have added dimension with layered butterflies and roses. I used gold Wink of Stella for sparkle. I will be sending these off to friends in the near future!
