It's time for the Double D's first challenge in January and we are celebrating the blog's 9th birthday. How exciting is that? I'm happy to be a part of this venture and team since the beginning 9 years ago. Congratulations to Darlene and Diane for the success of this challenge blog.

My inspiration came from three of the photos...
I took this opportunity to make a card for our grandson's upcoming birthday. He will be 9 and the January theme is always spot on for creating his card. I used remnants from a birthday collection and added some gold accents. The balloon strings are gold thread, the 9 is a gold sticker and I made a circular frame with gold cardstock.
