Happy Weekend Crafty Friends!
My share today is a card I made using a new set of stamps and coordinating die cuts. They've been sitting for a week just waiting for me to open and use. I followed a card sketch at A Cherry On Top for the current week and am quite happy with how it turned out.
The background cardstock and vellum oval are both embossed with the brick pattern. I stamped the foliage twice on green and twice on yellow. They were all cut out with the coordinating die set. I layered the green foliage for dimension. The yellow flowers are fussy cut and layered also. I used a punch for the trellis fence border and adhered it with foam tape for even more dimension. The sentiment was stamped, cut and adhered to the border. A few coordinating pearls complete the design.

Lovely card Vicki! Isn't it fun to play with new things!? I love how bright and cheery everything is on it. The one little detail that really pops out at me is the vellum oval background. You've done a great job! As guest designer over at Word Art Wednesday I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for playing along with us this round. Your talents are appreciated! :)
