FOREVER in our hearts

 Hey crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing a sympathy card that I found myself in need of for a friend of many years that recently lost a loved one.  These are never a favorite themed card to make, but I'm glad it came together quickly so I can get it in the mail tomorrow.  Ironically, there is a challenge at Memory Box for sympathy cards, so I will be sharing there too along with a few other challenge blogs.

FOREVER in our hearts

This A2 card is basically monochrome with a touch of light pink.  The flowers are part of a 3-D embossing folder that has a matching stamp/die set. The edges and raised areas of the flowers and background panel are lightly inked.  I layered the die cut, focal flowers over the background panel after adding dimension with foam tape.  The sentiment is stamped, die cut and also has added dimension.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have the best day!

Vicki, it's never easy to make (or send) a sympathy card. I struggle with those. But you've done a great job creating a very elegant yet understated card that will be much appreciated. I love the light inking. It's just the right amount of color. Thanks so much for sharing with us over at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate you!
