Welcome craft friends!
It's December and the holiday season is upon us. Over at the Double D Challenge Blog, the new theme goes right along with the season, "Christmas Wrappings". They want to see your interpretation of this theme...Christmas bows, ribbons, tags, packages, whatever comes to mind as far as Christmas wrapping goes.
Check out this mood board inspiration!
A wonderful prize is being offered to one lucky winner chosen by random draw.
My mind went in so many directions for this challenge. I finally settled on an altered tin containing mini cards that can be used as tags or will hold a gift card.
I used a fun paper collection in non traditional colors that has the best Christmas images! Toy soldiers, a gingerbread house, colorful trees and gumdrops are just a few of them.
I die cut some frames and altered the top of the tin, lined the inside and added four embellished cards I made to the collection. The papers were a joy to work with and I have to admit that I'm very sad that the company has closed it's doors recently. I do hope another manufacturer acquires them and carries on their product lines.
