Today I'm sharing a card I made for a special person's retirement. We celebrated him this past weekend with a dinner and lots of surprises. It was a fun, emotional time for him and everyone in attendance.
This customized card was fun to create. The quote and firefighter image are printed on vellum. The flame is on white cardstock with both the vellum and white cardstock cut using the same die. Hiding glue on vellum is tricky so I used mini glue dots and adhered yellow enamel dots over the area to hide them.
I personalized the inside of the card also with a fun quote. The fire alarm was printed twice, cut and adhered together for dimension.
