New Day!

Hi crafty friends!
A new challenge is up at the Double D with the theme of "Watercolor". The mood board inspiration is beautiful and the Design Team will be choosing top creative projects!
Tim Holtz Distress Stains
I went with bold summer colors on my card...
tomorrow is a new day

I used shimmer water colors for the background on this card.  Water does magical things to the sprinkles of powdered color.  The different colors that show up are amazing when spritzed with water.  Water color paint was used on a stamp to add random images around the edges.  The stamped sentiment is now a favorite of mine.  I used a floral laser cut as the focal image and added a couple of buzzing bees to embellish.

From my stash...
Arden Creative/KPD Laurel Grove Laser Cut
Arden Creative/KPD Maker Series Grove Notes Stamp
CTMH Watercolor Palette Paints
Katie Pertiet Designs for Lindy's Magicals
Grazing Grasshopper, Hello Buttercup, Lazing in the Laurels, Pink Petal Panic
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Sharing with these challenges:
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have the best day.

I agree Vicki with these watercolor sprinkles that you used. But I have to laugh The thought came into my mind it's like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. I also love your sentiment.

Each teamie in turn has inspired me to love my watercolor products a little more, and here we go again! How fun to play with these sprinkles and watch the magic happen! I have a set of Lindy's Magicals that need more attention. I love your summery colors and the bit of stamping you added, and the flower focus is so pretty!

Oh wow, this is just spectacular. I have not used watercolor granules in forever, I must pull them out again. You have really inspired me, and that focal pops against the pretty background.
