"Trees of Life"

 

This is a recent LO that I did for a challenge on one of my favorite sites. I had to choose 3 items from a list of "not normal" scrapbooking items.The 3 that I chose were...corrugated cardboard, cork, and masking tape. The cork was thin enough that I was able to use a punch and make it scalloped around the edges so I used it as a tag. The journaling says, "Sometimes Life Speaks For Itself". I layered torn pieces of the masking tape on cs and then inked over it with walnut stain. I wanted to replicate the mulch in the picture. The title, "Trees Give Us Life" was perfect with the items that I used. Afterall, without trees, none of us would be pursuing this passionate hobby of scrapbooking!
