"Music in My Heart"

I love this time of year! Christmas is a special time for our family.

Memories take me back to days of youth with my mom, dad, and siblings. Christmas Eve was church and then my Grandma's house for a snack. It was usually into the wee hours of the morning by the time we finally got home. Off to bed for an early "wake up" call from my sister and brothers. We used to sneak downstairs and sit on the steps to look in awe at the Christmas tree and gifts. The excitement was boundless.

Those days are long gone, but now we share our Christmas traditions with a larger circle of family...husbands, wives, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and of course, mom. Although my dad passed 16 years ago, he will forever be a part of my Christmas memories. He is the angel on top of our Christmas tree!

This week's challenge on the CropStop Challenge Blog is music. Create a project using music as your inspiration. I love music of all genres, and what better time of year for this topic!
I created this card for my husband. He is truly the "Music in My Heart". The safest place in all the world is in his arms!

I added the Gold Diamond Flower Soft to a chipboard musical note. Wow, I love this crafty fiber! The embossing on the Spellbinder hearts is beautiful.

I haven't played with flower soft yet, but that texture and colour is lovely!
