"Just Because" I made the LYB Blog!

Little Yellow Bicycle Paper is one of my favorite manufacturers to work with when creating projects.  I was fortunate to grab some of the newly released "Just Because" collection directly from the My Little Bicycle online store last week.  I ordered both the 6x6 paper pad and 12x12 papers along with the clear cut shapes and canvas stickers. Within the week, I had it in my hand.  Thanks LYB for the fast turn around!  Love getting something I order before it's out of date!

And...after posting my card on Facebook, I found it featured in  the  Little Yellow Bicycle's Peleton  blog post yesterday!  How exciting is that?  Thank you, again, LYB for making my day!

The colors in the "Just Because" collection are vibrant and happy...red, white, blue with a touch of turquoise.  I have been playing with my hexagon die-cut  and decided to make a card as my first project.

Supplies

I cut extra shapes from the different papers and added them in several of the hexagon shaped areas.

The clear cut shapes are great for embellishing cards.  I love the variety and number of elements in the package.  For dimension, I added some pop dots and made an additional flower using a die-cut and a scrap of the patterned paper.

These tea cups are too cute!  I added white cardstock behind the "let's chat" sentiment to make it stand out.  The clear cut white lace trim is matted with lace punched papers.  Then, a little twine to tie it all together!

Looking forward to creating with the remaining papers and elements in this collection.
Thanks for stopping by blog!
