Craft-Dee BowZ April Challenge!

April is here....and it's time for a new challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ!

This month's challenge theme is:
ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW

We all like to play with pretty ribbon...satin, grosgrain, sheer and velvet to name a few.  Show us how you use ribbon to create a bow on your project and share it with us at Craft-Dee BowZ.

Visit the Craft-Dee BowZ Blog and click on the MONTHLY CHALLENGE link at the top of the blog to locate April's challenge and link your project.

Here's my inspiration for you.

I created this paper weight-pin cushion using a half pint Mason jar filled with glass marbles.  The lid is covered with batting and vintage rose print fabric.  The multi-loop bow was "easy peasy" using my fabulous Craft-Dee BowZ Bow Making Tool. You can purchase one of these amazing tools by visiting the Craft-Dee BowZ Blog and clicking on the CDBZ Tool tab at the top of the page.

Here's a close-up of the vintage roses that I sprayed.  They started out white and I mixed 2 different mist colors to come up with the color to match the fabric I used for the cushion cover.  I added some feathers and leaves along with a gem stone below the bow to complete my project.

It's perfect for displaying a collection of my favorite stick pins while being used as a paper weight.
