Dies R Us February Heart Challenge

For the next 2 weeks, we want to see what you're creating for a favorite Valentine using hearts in the design. Link up your project to the Dies R Us Valentine Challenge post by midnight, February 14th for the chance to win a $10 Gift Voucher to spend in the Dies R Us Store.

Don't forget, most importantly, we need to see your die-cuts too!
Visit the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for rules and quidelines.  You can find them in the left side bar.  While you are there, grab our Dies R Us Challenge badge to share on your blog!

Here's my Valentine inspiration for you...

"I  {heart} you!

Love the dimension that I was able to create on this card!

The card base of kraft paper is layered with red and white cardstock.  I wanted to make a "see through" jar, so using the mason jar embossing folder on vellum was the way to go.

I filled the jar with bright red hearts using both the positive and negatives from the Memory Box Twirled Heart Border.  This is a favorite die cut of mine because it is so versatile and I use it frequently.  I included heart shapes cut from the heart banner too.

I made a double banner for around the neck of the jar.  The triangle flag banner is cut from denim fabric while the heart banner is cut from the same red cardstock as the other hearts.

The sentiment was printed on white and matted with navy blue cardstock die cut with Labels Eighteen.  I used a die cut heart in place of the word love.  A smaller banner from the Banner Stacklets worked well under the label to give it a finished look.

Featured Product
Memory Box - Twirled Hearts Border
Memory Box - Simple Banner
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Labels Eighteen
