Double D Black and White with a POP of Color Challenge!

It's time for the Double D second challenge of the month...

Our theme for this challenge is "Black and White with a Pop of Color"!
You'll find lots of inspiration with our current mood board.  Choice is good and we offer lots of room for you to choose from the photos below.  As always, you can pick one of the four or use them all to inspire your project.  Link it up to the Double D Blog's "Black and White with a POP of Color" post.

I went with black, white and a POP of red for my card...


It's July, right?  And time for a "Christmas in July" card!  I had this awesome black and white aspen tree paper in my stash and thought it would be great for this challenge.  I chose red as my POP of color, hence the cardinals!

Oooh, pretty! The aspen paper sets a beautiful outdoor scene, and then along come those cardinals with their fantastic, glittery wings. Love this!

Great take on the challenge, I love that birch tree background. It's perfect here to showcase the pops of red with the birds and oval frame. Really pretty card!
