Good morning blogger friends!
It's September...the kids are back in school and Mother Nature is still handing us brutal, summer temps! It's time for a new challenge on the Double D Challenge Blog and we have a great theme for this one. Our challenge topic is "Let's POP a Wheelie!". It's the perfect theme for this time of year. I can't help but think of the childhood song, "the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round. Now, I'll have that song in my head... Play along and share your project with us!
As always, we have a fun mood board to inspire you...

And, along with the Top Creative Winner and Top 3, chosen by the Design Team, we are offering the prize below to one lucky winner chosen by random.org. See the challenge guidelines in the Double D Challenge Blog sidebar. You have until September 16th to play along.
Here's my "Let's POP a Wheelie" inspiration...
"Ride along with Me"
This 6" x 6" card has many layers with lots of added dimension using dies cuts and flowers. The Penny Farthing is cut from three complimentary colors and layered over leaves and a twine bow. I used foam tape for dimension. The butterfly is fussy cut from remnants of patterned paper. I embellished with yellow roses and pearls.

Gorgeous creation! The colors and papers are perfectly wonderful! I love the layered die cuts, now is that a unicycle or a penny farthing (such an odd name, right?) I think I see a smaller wheel to the right, no? It looks so neat, especially with your pretty posies! Gorgeous I tell you!
Oh, I just adore this vintage-y card. The colors are fabulous, as are your beautiful flowers. Everything is perfect, great take on the Mood Board!
