Soon, we'll celebrate a day of romance where the exchange of cards, flowers, candies, gifts and/or even a romantic dinner are on the agenda for many as they celebrate love!
Team Diane, is up today with a fabulous theme of "Hearts" for the first challenge this month at the Double D Challenge Blog. What perfect timing for Valentine's Day on February 14th. As always, we offer a fabulous mood board consisting of four different photos to inspire you.
We'll be choosing a CREATIVE WINNER and Top 3 who will be awarded our Double D Badge to display in your blogs. In addition, we'll use random draw to select a winner for the awesome prize shown below. International entries are welcome as well so everyone will have a chance to win.
Impression Obsession Heart Stems
I was most inspired by the prints and colors along with the heart shapes. Here's my "Heart" inspired card...
"You have my heart..."
This 6" x 6" card of luscious layers is full of heart! The base of kraft paper is layered with two shades of pink matting and three different patterned papers. The Tutti Designs filigree heart die is one of my all time favorites. It is double cut and creates a pocket for the smaller hearts. The sentiment is printed on vellum and die cut along with the other hearts using another Tutti Designs set. I embellished with white pearl hearts and a small bow.

YOWZA! This card is magnificent! Just look at all of those fabulous layers and beautiful Designer Papers and colors! Can we talk about that corner layered heart....Oh My Word!
