Design Time!

Hey there Blogger friends!

Check out this new challenge at the Double D...it will have you seeing spots, lines and all kind of designs!  Yeppers, our topic for the second half of June is "Pick a Pattern"!

Be inspired by the mood board below, create a project featuring a pattern and link it up to the "Pick a Pattern" post in the Double D Challenge Blog.  You could be one of our Creative Winners or our random prize winner for the prize shown below.

Stop by the Double D Challenge Blog for guidelines listed under the rules tab at the top of the blog.
Here's our "Pick a Pattern" mood board...

Our random prize is this Echo Park Dots & Stripes Paper Pad

And here's my mood board inspired card...

  "Celebrate"

I chose a couple of different patterns for this card and actually found ribbon with a similar pattern as the paper.  The sentiment is heat embossed with silver foil.  I matted it and gave it dimension adhering it over the printed ribbon.  The die cut corners and black enamel pearls are the finishing details.

From my stash...
American Craft, My Mind's Eye Patterned Papers
Bazzill, Core'dinations Cardstock
Cheery Lynn Dusty Miller Frame Corners
Queen & Co. Black Pearls
Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Ovals

You really put your patterns to work! How pretty this is. Love those corners, too, and the red. It's a favorite color that I don't use nearly enough.
