I love the fun colors of the pineapple on the mood board. They speak of summer fun and pineapple designs are all the rage right now. This patterned paper was perfect for the challenge and I matted it with three layers of coordinating cardstock. The sentiment was made using heat press foil. I used several die cuts to create the sentiment focal point.
"Don't worry...be happy!
This happy card has lots of layers and fussy cutting. I wasn't sure what the sentiment would be until I was half way through the card. The design made me happy, so the title of a catchy tune from the 80's, "Don't worry...be happy!" was perfect...tropical with a little Reggae feel to it. I fussy cut a couple of birds, many of the flowers and leaves and tucked them in behind the layers. There is a lighter circle of patterned paper behind the birds to make them pop off the green background colors. I had a pineapple stamp that I inked and fussy cut to tuck behind the sentiment banner.
