Hey Blogger friends!
It's August already! Summer took so long to get here and now it's going by too quickly. The weather is hot, steamy and it's like a jungle out there. We're tolerating the heat with pleasure at the Double D and using it to inspire our first challenge this month...
"It's A Jungle Out There"
Do you remember The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling? It's a heart warming story about a young boy raised in the jungle by wild animals. Disney even made it into a movie. It was a favorite of our kids many years ago. This theme brings back so many great memories.
We want to see your jungle projects inspired by the mood board below.

I was inspired by the over all jungle theme...
"WELCOME TO OUR JUNGLE"
Lots and lots of dimension and layers on this 6" x 6" creation. Graphic 45's Safari Adventure Collection was perfect for this jungle inspired card. I fussy cut the animals and adhered them to the background paper and pocket along with a few tropical leaves and flowers. The tags are tucked in to the pocket created with the animal striped paper and elephant border strip. The reverse side of the tags allow for signing and personalizing this card.
From my stash...
Bazzill, CTMH Cardstock
Clearsnap Color Box Chestnut Roan Ink
Graphic 45 Safari Adventure Collection
