I've been trying really hard to get back into scrapping layouts along with making cards. My time is more limited now and it's often a struggle to get motivated even when I do find the time.
Our grand kids are growing fast and I'm way behind on scrapping special moments and that makes me sad. We have them out of school, in pre-school, elementary and middle school. Our only princess is now in 3rd grade. It seems like only yesterday that she was playing hide and seek as a two year old with her Pop Pop. She is so very special...loving, giving, compassionate and fun!! The world is her stage and she will go far!
I love this photo on her first day of school. She chose her own outfit and did her hair all by herself. Her little brother shared a photo with her too. I had the perfect paper collection to go along with her denim outfit! And, a chipboard sentiment that describes her perfectly!
Creative Embellishments has a challenge on their blog every month and I decided to play along since that's where I purchased the laser chipboard. They have a super inventory to choose from. The blues and pink colors in the first photo on the mood board inspired this layout!
"You're Beautiful"
This is a 12 x 12 layout using the Maja Design Denim & Girls Collection. The pinks and blues were perfect with the photo. I've been waiting to use the chipboard sentiment from Creative Embellishments for over a year. I inked and misted it to coordinate with the papers.

What a cute~cute page AND grandchildren!! The papers you chose are perfect and I love the added sentiment...we have all ages of grands too and even some greats, and I am way too young for that..hah!!
