"HELLO, It's me..."

Good morning blogger friends!

We're working our way through February and it's time for our second challenge of the month at the Double D Challenge Blog.  Our theme for the next two weeks is, "HELLO"!  And, we have a beautiful mood board to inspire you...

Drop by the Double D Challenge blog and play along.  Link up your project to the "HELLO" Challenge post by February 16th.  You could be one of our Creative Winners or the lucky person chosen by random draw to receive the prize below.

Impression Obsession "Hello" Sentiment Die

Here's some inspiration from my craft space...

"HELLO"

I was inspired by the roses in the top left and bottom right photos.  I used a postage stamp die cut to create the layered card base and as the focal point background.  The roses clustered together and matted with a medallion doily are coated with glass bead gel to mimic the sugar coated rose on the mood board.  The HELLO sentiment is a mini clothespin with gold lettering tucked into the roses.

From my stash...
Bazzill, Core'dinations Cardstock
Bo Bunny "Count the Ways Collection"
Liquitex Glass Bead Gel
Memory Box Amana Circle
Tutti Designs Stitched Postage
Wild Orchid Crafts Roses

I can see where you got your inspiration from for sure. This is great as it could be a Valentine's card without using a heart. I love this creation.

So beautiful! Reminds me of a yummy box of chocolates, but it's a beautiful box of roses! So lovely! That clothes pin is so sweet too!

So many roses. It's a shame that you can't smell their scent.
It's a great idea to make the leaves blue. Thank you for sharing with us at DotMCC and we hope we see you next month again. Gundi

Wow, what a magnificent card! The postage stamp die cuts look great - just like the red-and-white colour combination! The tiny bouquet of roses on the small lace doily in the centre is an absolute highlight! Thank you so much for playing along with us at DotMCC this month. Rosi x
