Welcome back crafty friends!
Wow, it's a new month with a new challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog. I can't believe June is gone and July is here! It's summer and we are having some hot, hot, hot temps here on the east coast.
The theme of this challenge is "Stitching"...any kind of stitching. Cross stitch, machine stitch and even faux stitch. We want to see stitching/stitches on your project.
This mood board will surely inspire you...
The Design Team will choose the Top Creative Winners and one lucky person, chosen by random draw, will win this Cottage Cutz Die Set.

Double Stitched Square Set
I was inspired by the last photo and anxious to use the embroidery hoop die that I purchased this past spring.
"XOXO"
I printed the foliage digi image on canvas and used the embroidery hoop die to cut it out. The actual hoop part is from a second cut using dark kraft paper. The hoop is matted with a cross stitch circle in the same color as the card base. I have an "XOXO" die that I cut 3 times and adhered together for dimension. The X coordinated with the cross stitch design on the circle mat.
From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Claudine Hellmuth/Ranger Canvas
Love Nicole XOXO
Prima Misty Rose Collection
Tutti Designs Nested Cross Stitch Circle
Waffle Flower Embroidery Hoops
Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Roses

Thanks for stopping by...I hope I've inspired you to create using stitches!

This is so pretty Vicki! How clever of you to print on canvas. I love the look! I think I might have some paper canvas tucked away somewhere in my closet of shame that I now, must find. Gorgeous inspiration for this challenge!!

I have not seen this die anywhere and now it pops up twice. Such a great use of it for this challenge. You and Judy must be in shoots. But in a good way. That bunch of posies in the middle look amazing.
Great idea to print foliage on the canvas paper - looks amazing with all the rolled roses and the embroidery hoop!!
