Welcome back blogger buddies!
It's Sunflower time at the Double D Challenge Blog!
Sunflowers are a late July and August eye-catcher here in Pennsylvania. They grow 3-15 feet high and explode in vivid shades of yellow and orange. Fields and patches of these gorgeous flowers have become popular with photographers taking senior pictures along with family and event photos.
At the Double D, we want to see your sunflower inspired projects. Link them up to the Double D Challenge Blog "Sunflowers" post by August 30th and you could be one of our Top Creative picks or the winner of the prize shown below.

I went with one of the recent trends in paper crafting and created this fun card...

I Love Fall Most of All...
I love sunflowers and think of fall whenever I see them. The red barn in the background of the third photo caught my eye immediately. It was going to be part of my card for sure and I knew I had the perfect paper to pull it off. I embellished with a large die cut and a few small fussy cut sunflowers.

Love the worn looking barn backdrop, the sunflower Designer Paper and that cutesy gnome. Your sunflower is slowly creeping up and over your sentiment, just like how they grow so big and bold in gardens all around town! LOVE!!!
