Pam Bray Designs Simplicity Travel Journal

Welcome back to another Monday post!  Yes, it's the last Monday and day in November too.  That means I am in serious holiday mode after today.

Today, I'm sharing another project created using Pam Bray Designs with Wild Whisper, "Simplicity" Collection.  What a fun array of colors and designs.

Pam has, once again, created a fantastic collection of colors and designs.  This collection includes the Simplicity paper pack, Honeycomb Flair Stencil, Postage Delight Stamp Set, Little Things Stamp Set, Flair and Buttered Pearls embossing powder.

Pam Bray collections are available at Wild Whisper Designs in Canada along with A Cherry On Top and Funkie Junkie in the U.S.  Check the Wild Whispers Designs web store for a list of more retailers.

Travel journals are trending, so I thought I would create a fun, colorful one with Simplicity!

"It's the Little Memories that will last a Lifetime"

I die cut a naked chipboard journal for you to view using the Eileen Hull Scoreboard XL.  When I created my journal, I adhered my patterned paper to the chipboard and then die cut it.  This makes the process much easier than trying to cover paper over the chipboard after it's cut.

I chose distressed striped paper for the journal cover.

I used the Honeycomb Flair stencil and distress inks to create the pattern on the cover.

The flowers are fussy cut and arranged in a circular pattern.  The entire journal cover is coated with glass bead gel for texture.

The sentiment is from the Little Things stamp set.
