"Flowers in Containers"...

 Welcome back crafty friends....

It's time for the Double D's second challenge in January.   Looking for a bright spot following 2020, our newest challenge theme is "Flowers in Containers".

I received a beautiful pine and rose arrangement from my siblings at Christmas time but now I'm looking forward to forsythia, crocus and tulips that come in Spring.

Here's our happy mood board inspiration...

And the prize for one random player....

HOTP Floral Doodles Clear Stamps

Here's my brightly colored inspiration...

"Let your dreams bloom"

The teapot in the bottom right photo was my inspiration.  I used a teapot die that I purchased years ago and made a floral heart insert to represent "flowers in containers".  Just a fun play on words!   The poppy was cut from coordinating cardstock with both the flowers and container having added dimension using foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment, matted it and added a few hearts, flowers and pearls around it.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Kaisercraft Pearls
Memory Box Perky Poppy
Mintay Farm Life Collection
Poppy Stamps Ornate Tea Set
Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Hearts
Spellbinders Classic and Scalloped Ovals

I am loving that cute teapot that really adds to the papers you choose. All you needed is one flower in the pot to make this complete.

WOW that Mintay paper was just perfect (hmmmm don't think I have that particular paper pack ... will have to do something about THAT!! lol) I have some beautiful crystal vases that hubby has bought me over the years but I still love placing flowers in containers I have around the house ... teapot, mason jar, wine bottle cooler ... you now, whatever strikes my fancy lol Thanks for beautiful inspiration ... big hugs
