Happy Valentine Birthday!

 Happy Valentine's Day!

Today, I'm sharing a handful of Valentine cards that I've been working on for the past few weeks and finally finished up early this morning. We have several Valentine birthdays among our family and friends.  Some of the cards are traditional reds, pinks, and white, while others are non traditional colors.

First up is a very special birthday Valentine for a dear friend's daughter.  She is turning 18 today.  I was commissioned to create her card with the sentiment that her mom requested.

And, here it is....Happy 18th Birthday, Aryanna!

"Happy Birthday Baby Girl"

This 6" x 6" square card is a simple design but embellished with lots of hearts and flowers.  I die cut the  metallic lacey heart base and covered it with red velvet hearts, flowers and jewels for a touch of glamour.

I added a touch of green to the red and white using satin ribbon.

The number 18 was cut from red metallic cardstock.

Next up are a couple of Valentines using colors that we normally see on this day...pink, red and white.

"Happy Birthday"

A CAS "Happy Birthday" card embellished with feathers, jewels and a bow.

"You make my heart beat..."

Another CAS Valentine using a fun "heartbeat" die cut.

And that's it for traditional Valentine colors.  The next two cards were created for a challenge using non traditional colors.

"Love"

This is my most favorite of all the Valentines that I made!  I love the metallic wood grain on the paper.  I used this design on a card from a previous post and decided to use it again for this card.  The solid  gold heart was a great accent to the wood grain paper.

"love"

Last is this funky, retro look slim line card with denim hearts and layers for dimension.

So, that's it or my stash of Valentine cards.  Some are already postal and in the hands of the recipient.  Others will be hand delivered later today!

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Bo Bunny, Maja Design, Recollections Patterned Papers
Ellentina, Frantic Stamper, Tutti Designs
SEI Velvet Specialty Paper
 Wild Orchid Craft Mulberry Roses
Other: Feather, ribbon
