Hey there, crafty friends!
April is more than half over and it's time for our second challenge of the month at the Double D Challenge Blog. Link up to the current challenge post in the Double D Challenge blog by Sunday, May 2nd, and you could be one of our creative winners. We're also offering a prize to one lucky person chosen by random draw.
The challenge theme: "Rain Showers"/
The prize...
Cheapo Dies - Rainy Day
The mood board inspiration...
My inspirational project is a mini album...
"Loving in the Rain"
I love mini albums and really should spend more time creating them. The colors on the mood board inspired me to use a collection I've been hoarding for quite some time...Ciao Bella's "Loving In The Rain". I fussy cut the collection title from the kit cover, adhered it to a piece of chipboard and used it as the album title.
I also adhered a chipboard couple that I covered with white ink, white glitter embossing powder and a scrap of patterned paper on the umbrella.
This inside is embellished front and back with pockets, tags and photo mats.
It all folds up and comes together with a piece of sheer red ribbon to tie it closed.
From my stash...
Bazzill, Recollections Cardstock
Ciao Bella, Loving in the Rain Collection
Colorbox White Chalk Ink
Ranger White Embossing Powder
Spellbinders Die Cut
Stop by the Double D Challenge Blog and play along.
