Welcome blogger friends!
March is here and Spring is weeks away. It's that time of year when bulbs are popping up and buds are popping out on trees. My daffodils are about eight inches high with buds and will hopefully soon be blooming. I love their subtle scent and happy yellow color.
We're celebrating with a new theme at the Double D Challenge Blog to start off the month.
Everything is coming up green!
Here's a mood board to inspire you...
And a fun prize to one lucky winner chosen by random draw.

I found the most beautiful printed vellum a few weeks ago while shopping. The design wouldn't fit my usual square card choice, so I went with an A7. I cut a window in the patterned paper with a large oval die and adhered it over the vellum image with foam tape for added dimension. The sentiment and hearts are from a puffy sticker collection in my stash.

Next, I made this note card using the last scrap of paper from one of my very favorite paper collections. It's been in my stash for almost 10 years. The image was a close match to the first photo
minus the kitten!
HELLO
Just a sweet little note card to say "Hello" to a good friend.

Beautiful! What a find that pretty Vellum must have been--stopped you in your tracks I bet! Love the die cut oval, really showcases it beautifully! Your second creation is just as pretty! The pattern is gorgeous--we used to pick wild blackberries with my Nana Sylvia, we were covered in their stain, their delicious stain lol Well done!
Oh wow! That is vellum? You did an impressive job with it. This card is glamorous and I loved the sentiment. I was hoping that it was a die for me to buy.
Both cards are beautiful, love the softness of the vellum on the first one, such a beautiful sand elegant card with the gold metallic sentiment and the greens almost look 3D!! The second card is just as beautiful and is a perfect take on the mood board, I can see why you saved it and it came in perfectly for this challenge, great designs!!
WOW ... both creations are AMAZING! I draw so much inspiration from your creations ... thanks for more awesome DT projects to inspire us all. Hugs
Both cards are lovely. you are very talented.
Oh. My. Gosh. Paper addict here and 49 & Market is a favorite. The vellum is unexpected and so gorgeous with the gold. You treated us to two today! I have to say I'm smitten by the warmth and hominess of the berries with recipe that I cannot read, but it looks amazing!
What a gorgeous card, I think it's my favorite. That vellum is absolutely beautiful, and the "puffy" greeting is so elegant and classy looking. This is a real stunner, my friend.
Two gorgeous cards, Vicki and I'm in awe of both of them! The printed vellum is stunning and I'm thinking you found it at HL. I might have to make a trip in town some day soon to see if our store has this.... if it ever stops snowing. I'm jealous that your bulb are up already and getting ready to bloom. We just keep getting snow storm after snow storm. So glad I have a paper garden to play in. Well done on both of your beautiful cards!
What a lovely pair of cards you've made! The first is gorgeous with the gold accents and I like the subtle look of the 2nd one with the berries! Great job on both!
What absolutely gorgeous cards, love your challenge entry, the vellum is beautiful and love the design and the butterfly. Lovely work. Thank you so much for joining us in our challenge at Crafting Happiness Challenges. Good Luck and looking forward to seeing you again in our next challenge.
