YOU MAKE MY HEART flutter

This card is "true blue" combining the vibrant shades of blue in a recently purchased paper collection.  The white card base is covered with dark blue and layered with a lighter patterned blue that includes a pocket in the upper left.  I tucked in a die cut doily and heart as embellishments.  The butterflies are cut from both the white and dark blue background colors, then adhered together with the wings free on the top layer.

From my stash...

Momenta Heart Die
Prima Doily 2, Pineapple Die

Beautiful shades of blue, love those papers! Love that doily and heart die cut, tucked away in the pocket--so clever and makes for such a wonderful accent. Beautiful butterflies and I adore the flourish foliage piece too. Stunning!

Vicki, you always make me want to get my paper out for a play! I have so much I haven't used yet, including some gorgeous 49 & Market. This blue is rich and gorgeous. So lovely with the layered butterfly die. The doily is a nice touch which gives your card almost a collage-like style. Beautiful!

A masterly job with these shades of blue. I like that you used both white and blue for the butterflies. and that background is luscious.
