Hey crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing a card I made for a fun monthly challenge on A Cherry On Top's message board. The challenge is all about Taylor Swift and each month there is a different prompt. For January, the prompt is to use a woodgrain for the entire background.
There is a fun photo for inspiration...
I love the contrast of Taylor's green dress with the background wood.
I chose a vintage, white wash woodgrain for the background of this Valentine card. The greens were perfect for the die cut wreath. I embellished with flowers and jewels using pink and purple. The die cut sentiment is two tone with the darker offset as a shadow for the word and adhered to a large, pretty pink heart.
