Hi crafty friends and welcome back for another challenge in the merry, merry month of May!
The Double D is sharing their second challenge for the month and the theme is, "May's Birth Flower (Lily of the Valley or Hawthorne) and/or Birthstone (Emerald). Use the picture inspiration below to create and link your project to the Double D's "May Birth Flower/Birthstone" Challenge. You could be a creative winner or random prize winner.
I'm sharing a shaker card for my project...
The May flower, Lily of the Valley, is the focus of this shaker card. I used a transparency as the window pane and added dimension with foam tape with the sequins behind it. The background paper has a Lily of the Valley print that peeks through the window among the sequins. I embellished the frame with Lily of the Valley ephemera and some cute rain boots. The sentiment is stamped, die cut and matted to coordinate with the background paper.

Such a pretty window shaker card, Vicki! The background paper you used is perfect for this challenge. I adore the wellies and sprig of lily of the valley. Everything goes together perfectly.
What a lovely idea Vicki that you made looking through the window at all of the spring images. I just love the feel of this card. Fresh and lovely and a great job.
OH WOW this is awesome Vic! LOVE the entire design (I'm not good at shakers so label me 'Very Impressed'! lol) The blue wellies is an awesome touch! Beautifully done my friend!!
YOWZA! This is amazing and I love that it is a Shaker card! The pretty LOTV from ephemera and Designer Paper is so beautiful! That window pane is fantastic! And those sweet little wellies! LOVE!!!
Oh, how gorgeous this is! The perfect paper and ephemera. LOVE the window die for the shaker. A real work of art that will be treasured!
Oh how I love shakers and this one is downright gorgeous, you are inspiring me to do a few shakers myself!!
Wow, what a fabulous shaker you have created here. I love the Lily of the Valley and adding the boots is a great final touch. Your colors are really pretty too.
Beautiful - love how you've put this together.
